In June, I had just returned from a nice vacation to Norway and was brutally confronted with the heat and humidity of SE Texas.  I was so sweaty and I couldn't help but think, "there's no way I can knit wool in these temperatures."  My solution was to knit a möbius loop scarf thing with handpainted cotton, preferably in pink.

So, here's what I came up with:

the yarn is Araucania Patagonia Nature Cotton

worn as a cowl..

my original concept

a wrap?

balaclava/cowl-esque.

I think I can 'rock' it, but it does seem a bit like I'm wearing a big pink tube thing.

This yarn sheds a lot, unfortunately.  Would a wash help that?

I totally dig that color, it matches you perfectly (and so does the wall  Grin).

I agree with the other craftsters....the color is wonderful on you.  Hopefully you will wear it with confidence....it looks "high fashion" to me...very creative.

thanks.

Well, it's based on Cat Bordhi's Mobius technique, which is sort of explained here.  I learned from one of her books though.
