yes! so good! i just bought one of these at the beach. only because my friend was tired of me sitting there and contemplating how they did it; so i bought it and took it back to the room where i could contemplate without the nagging.

I have a version of these dolls!  Mine is called a Voodoo Friend, and he's a pirate! Cheesy  I would love to make one of these!  Except I would cheat and use wire as a base! Tongue

They sell those like crazy in Asia! I didn't think they used glue. I'm not sure its that stable? Anyhoots, I bought two plain voodoo ones. I believe they are called voodoo dolls.. Haha.. I got them for USD1.3 each.

wow, thats dedication.

I'm making one at the moment but more as scrap project. I'm learning knitting and crocet, so pretty much all the scrap bits of yarn that i have bothced up go towards making my baby blue string ninja well thats what i like to call it.

I'm too lazy to use glue so i cheated and used styrofoam and scrap wire from a flower bouquet i recieved.

Shes adorable.
I suffer from the same 'problem' as you, it results in me shouting at my crochet hook, sewing machine, anything in range of me!
