Craftland is an annual month-long holiday sale in downtown Providence, RI that celebrates all kinds of sparkly handmade objects and the sparkly people who make them! This year we will be open December 1st-22nd.

I'm thinking about it.  I met some of the people from Craftland at the Providence Open Market this summer and it sounds like a great idea.  I'm just wondering if between Etsy and shows if I'll have enough stock to be able to keep stuff in Craftland for almost a month.

I haven't, but I am planning to apply this year.  I took a look at the Prov Open Market site too, that sounds like fun.  I filled out an application.

Oh good, I'm glad your going to do the open market.  It's a lot of fun and I'll probably see you there.  I'll be there Sept 6, 13 & 27.

Well, hopefully, I have to wait and see if I'm accepted.  Do you have your own tent or do you brave the weather?

I have a tent.  It was tough to brave the heat and sun without one at the location they were at in the Spring.  It was in the middle of downtown with very little shade to be had.  They moved the location for September to a park though, so hopefully it'll be cooler anyway but at least there should be some shade.
