It's lovely! I really like the fabrics that you chose + the neckline is so cute!

Wow that's absolutely beautiful.   It's kind of hard to believe that it's your first dress, because it came out so well.   Good job.   Smiley

Thank you!!!

It was super, super hard to get it to fit right, but I'm pretty sure I like it too.

It doesn't look that simple to me!  Simple to me is a tube dress made out of that pre-smocked stuff at Wal-Mart.  You've accomplished a great deal more than that, and I'm sure you learned a lot during the process.  Your dress is great, and you look great in it! Congratulations!

It's so pretty! Hot, but in an elegant sort of way. I wouldn't worry about any mistakes you made. If you ever stop to really look as critically at ready-to-wear as you will your own creations, you'll realize you can really muck it up and it's still ok!

And in the end, DONE is better, way better, than PERFECT.   Grin   Spoken by one who is working on accepting the concept every day...

You're right about the simpleness of that dress. I just meant it looked simple... compared to some of the other dresses I found on this site. Thanks!!!

Thanks! and YES, i did have to put in a zipper (!!!). and YES, it was a horrible experience that I've, hopefully, learned from.
