I made these today from cracker boxes and magazine pages! I punched holes at the top and added ribbon for handles. I thought of this post the whole time, and was so excited to come report back on what to do with cereal boxes!!

Well, this is cool.  I looked at your post then looked just a few posts down and found this!

You could leave the original artwork from the box on the bracelets or Mod Podge, paint, etc on them!

Cool idea.  I just throw my boxes away but am now wondering why the heck I do - being a crafter and all!  Sheesh!

Ooh Ooh Ooh! Magazine holders! Cut the top off diagonaly, and then decorate it with wrapping paper or tissue paper!!

This wasn't my idea, I got it from a posting here about 3 (?) months ago... Just like funkensteins, I made gift bags.  I wrapped mine with old sheet music (cool musical notes) and some I used music sheet covers (pictures of Rosemary Clooney and Janet Leigh and Bing Crosby and Julie Andrews.)

We used some today from our berry cereals to make Valentines. We just cut out heart shaped pieces, and wrote the classmates' names on the back!

sometimes i just tape it back with tape and let children to play with it as if they're going grocery shopping.  children have tons of fun!!
