when i moved alot of my knitting neeles became singles, i was racking my crafty brain and couldn't think of a use for them. 
:-\does any one have any ideas for these babies  Grin(i have about ten , and none are the same size) or should i just chuck them , wich would break my crafty heart Cry

decorated cake testers?
Someone (not sure who, you can search) did that back in the fall cuz they couldn't find metal bbq skewers. If they're metal, that is. You could cut off the end, flatten it, file the edges smooth, drill a hole and attach a beaded dangle. Use a magnet to attach it to the fridge so you can find it when you need it.

string them together and make a place mat? (there was one made out of chopsticks on here awhile back)
Mount them on a board and hang ribbon spools from them?
Knitting needle bracelets sound like a good idea...
If you have shorter ones, you could turn two of them into clock hands...
Do you garden? They could be plant stakes?
