Agreed.... although Ive always wondered if the Sydney Road store is more closely scrutinised/scavenged through than say the Dandenong and Frankston stores which are seriously rooted in suburbia.

Yeah, sometimes its more fun when its busy - shopping is always about the atmosphere! So Sydney Road is a thumbs up in my book too.

Hi everyone; I'm pretty new to craftster.
I've spent the last month practically stuck to my laptop admiring all the
great bags and purses that people have made (that's my addiction) .
Finally I thought I'd venture out and look around a bit and that's how I found this thread.
I grew up in Brunswick but now live in Lower templestowe and I love making bags and also
dabble in jewellery.

ahoyhoy! i've been on craftster for a while but i don't think i've posted in this thread, haha

i'm also a fellow melbournian and currently loathing the winter weather because it's just so darn cold in the morning! still in highschool (year 10, booyah!) so you can imagine the freezing mornings waiting for trains into the city Cheesy
i started sewing because a very DIY crafty friend inspired me to also start being very DIY and crafty with fashion and the like Grin

Welcome ladies! ( I assume...)

And xxboheme can I assume you are a Simpson's fan? I thought Mrr Burns and I were the only people who ever said "Ahoyhoy" and me and DuffMan were the only people who ever said "booyah!".  Cheesy
