This is my first wreath. I've always wanted to make one, but was always a bit put off by the seemingly outrageous prices of fake flowers and dried stuff. So finally I was going to just suck it up and use one of those 10% of my entire purchase coupons from JoAnne's and buy all the stuff I needed for a harvesty theme wreath. I even got to the line and was almost next, but backed out because I just couldn't reason spending $4.99 for just one bundle of wheat when I had nothing but old milk and green beans in my fridge.

So a few days later I went to my dollar store to get something else (I love that store....I can afford EVERYTHING in it!) and LOW AND BEHOLD! all the same stuff I wanted at JoAnne's was there too!!!

So I got 4 bunches of that wheat that was previously $4.99, a grapevine frame, some harvest colored ribbon, a bunch of fake sunflowers, and a tacky scarecrow to put in my window.

After some wire I found laying in my junk-drawer and just a few minutes later....TA-DA! My first WREATH!

on the door

complete with other holiday decorations!

I'd be happy to have your decorations on my door, and the scarecrow.  They look just great.  You have a flair for putting those together.  And the dollar store--so much the better!
