I've been making a whole lot of very Anthro-esque necklaces lately. Huge obsession with crowns and cameos and such so I've been playing around with some stuff.

This is the first one I made. 21st bday present for my friend. It's a few weeks late but it's ok, she'll get it eventually. A crown with 3 music notes and cherries.

The ultimate in romanticism - cameo, heart-shaped locket and all strung a pink chain you can't see in the pic.

More crowns!

This one is just chockful of stuff - owl, skull, crown, key, faux padlock thing, and mini locket

Again, crowns. I mentioned I had a mild obsession, right?

Probably the simplest necklace I've made. The beads are really nice colour though.

And on the opposite end of the spectrum, the craziest one. I know it's super busy and totally over the top but I think that's why I like it.

I also found this great stash of buttons so I've been making cute, kitschy little rings. They're soooo addictive!! I've been making stud earrings too, just no pictures yet.

And then of course, there are always earrings. Lots and lots of earrings. I have a lot more that need to be photographed.

I just love these little hat ones. I made red pair for my Mom for her Red Hat Society gatherings.

These tiny little baskets are handwoven in Northern Thailand. It's crazy, they're sooo tiny!! Each one is BARELY half an inch big.

And these little guys were just adorable and crying to be made into earrings. Smiley

Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think Smiley

So much cool stuff!  I especially like the necklaces.  I'm inspired to make something with the many charms my grandma gave me over the years.  I have a huge stash of buttons from her too.  Care to share how you made the rings?  Thanks for the inspiration!

I love them all.  The necklaces, the cute little button rings and especially those devil earrings.  Where did you find those little devils?  For the rings did you do wire or do you just just buy premade rings?

Thanks everyone!

For the rings I bought the plain ring blanks. To make them I just cut the shank off the back, sanded it a bit and then glued it to the blank. Super easy, it's just all about having awesome buttons Smiley

the ultimate in romanticism indeed. My little pseudo victorian self is in love with the heart/cameo necklace, and also the crazy one with the key. The crowns are great, too...where *did* you get the cameo? The super cute mummies I think I've seen at hot topic, but they look WAY better as earrings, I gotta say.
Anyway, wow. All your necklaces are really delightfully fancy. Props to you!

They are all beautiful, especially the key one! Where do you get so many cool bits, like the crowns and cameos?

I've never seen the mummies and stuff at HotTopic. Granted I've been out of the country for 8 months... I'll have to check it out when I get back.

I get pretty much all my charms and things in Thailand. My parents live here so my Mom sends me nice little care packages all the time. Plus I'm here for the whole summer so I've been shopping up a storm. They have amazing jewelry supplies.
