I'm so spoiled........ and I really don't know what I did to deserve it!
Today, I was in a class all day, so my brains are about to explode, but I'm one class closer to my developer certification, YAY!
And in my mailbox was this innocent looking box.
Until I opened it.

Dragonflyducky claimed me for wooden crochet hook(s).  Uh-huh.

Check this out, folks...... first of all, there were hooks.  Seven of 'em.  SEVEN!!  In a whole range of sizes, and they feel so wonderful to hold......... bamboo is definitely the way to go!

But wait, there's more!!  We share a love for all things dragonfly, apparently - and these are the sweetest earrings yet - Ducky, if you have a better picture, please feel free to post it - this was the best I could do after a long day of learning......  they're silver, with the levered backs so I won't lose them, and a crystal on each which catches the light so beautifully!

But wait, there's MORE!!!!
Handspun...... wool, mohair blends.  2 of 'em.  TWO!!  The darker one has all these great flecks of color, about 110 yards, and the smaller is a wonderful heathery mix, another 50 yards there.... I'm thinking I need to work up some sort of shawl or something where I can use all my different handspuns....

Ducks, thank you so much - you went WAY above and beyond.... and I'm glad to have you as a friend!

Oh, I love that brand of hooks that you got! I bought the same kind for my knitting needles and crochet hooks. So wonderful!

And those earrings are stunning. The crystals are a nice touch.  Cheesy

Well, once I took the pictures, I took them out of the wrapping, to put them in my hook roll...... and they just FEEL so nice...... the aluminum ones are ok, nicer once they have the polymer clay handles.... but there's just something about the wooden ones, it's like you can feel the yarn come alive or some dorky thing like that   Smiley

ya know, it's funny - I have all my hand-spun yarns in 1 container, cause I love to touch them.... and I think I really need a project that will use all these way cool yarns, and allow that they're all different - so I was thinking maybe this?  what do you guys think?  do all the squares in the different yarns?
