Wow... I would have never thought a place like that would be a good place for a wedding at first glance.  But THEN... I saw the paint, the paper flowers, etc. and I just sat there and all these ideas rushed to my head.  Problem is I'm not getting married!  Cheesy  ha ha

You did a wonderful job!!  Absolutely wonderful!

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

Ha ha. You should have seen it before we painted and put up tarps and decorated - nobody else really thought it was a good idea for a wedding reception either! lol. But, you work with what you can afford, and we created a really charming atmosphere, with ALOT of character, and managed to incorporate our lovely city scapes into the reception. I love my city, but I'm not one of those brides that can shell out thousands on the Shedd Aquarium, Notebarte Nature Museum, etc. So, a friend's art gallery in an old store front was a crapload of work - but I think it was so different, and personal, everyone will remember it for a long time!
