I recently purchased these wristlets at the Smithsonian. I thought they were pretty cool. They would be very easy to make if anyone could get a hold of some rice bags.

What do you guys think of them ?

i've seen those too. they are pretty cute. i would have no idea where to get the stuff... i used to work at a horse stable and they had some feed bags made of a similar material, though it was not a rice bag.

a place to get the bags... if you have a sams club or a costco near you, the bags are massive, but its that style.

Indian/Asian stores might have some smaller bags than a wholesale place.

So funny...I read this post 2 days ago, and then yesterday afternoon I was on a walk through town (small town) and one of these bags had blown out of the Chinese restaurant's trash...it tumbled right in front of me.

I snatched it up, folded it, and put it in my bag, and thought to myself "That was easy...wonder when the zippers will blow by?"

Grant me the strength, endurance, and focus to see it through.
