Hi!

I'm trying to make this this week, and hoping someone can help clarify one point.  On piece E, it looks in the picture like the parts that will turn into the front and back of the bag are the same size.  (I'm talking here about toe two large rectangles that are created once you cut out the squares/rectangles for the corners and flap.)  But if you figure out their sizes from the measurements given, they're actually off by 4".  Since I'm modifying this to make it slightly different, I need to know if those two pieces are the same size or not.  Does this question make sense?  Grin

Thanks so much for the great tutorial!  I modified it a bit and made myself a purse I LOVE!!  I'm no great seamstress, so I won't embarrass myself with pictures.  Just wanted to say thank you!

Finally I understand how to construct a divider in a messenger bag! Thank you! Will definitly try out your construction of the lining for the very next bag I'm going to make.
