I finished my bag! I didn't make a zipper pocket inside. Instead, I made two smaller pockets on the inside lining pieces (parts "a" and "b"). I used navy polar fleece for the outside, which makes for a good winter purse in Minnesota. Great tutorial! Thanks!

I wonder if i added some sort of filler (closed cell foam, batting maybe) to the inside pocket if i could convert it to a laptop bag.

Thank you for this tutorial!  I made a bag (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=250531.msg2784312#msg2784312) with it for a swap and managed not to screw it up too badly, even though I'd never made a bag before.  Now I want to make one for everyone I know!

OHMYGOSH.

I've been trying to make a bag with a divider for ages, but I couldn't figure out how. This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Thank you so much for posting this! And it's a lovely bag, as well. Smiley
