What stitch is your outline done in?

Looks like two rows of chain stitch.

it is actually two rows of split stitch. Smiley

Awesome! Your split stitch is totally perfect. Love your work as always. Also, your color palette is pretty close to mine, so I especially love your colors Smiley. I showed my partner dreamfollow.com the other day and even she loved it (she's soooo not crafty). In her words, this piece is "bad ass."

Thanks for clarifying that. I don't use split stitch. I go with chain. I never liked the look of the split in the diagrams--I should have known better. None of the stitches "stitched" are identical to the way they look in the diagrams. It is actually quite attractive. I will have to incorporate some of it in my work. Probably uses half the thread and half the time.
