A few weeks back I came across this wonderful tutorial on how to fuse plastic bags. It looked like so much fun that I just had to have a go. I suppose it appealed to the rebel kid in me as it involved melting plastic with an iron, and NO adult supervision no less. (No, wait... I think  I am supposed to have classed myself as adult for quite a number of years now. Bummer.)

Anyways, here are the fruits of my rebellious plastic-melting labour:

It's got a small pocket on the inside (for my phone maybe) and is just big enough to fit an A4 notepad. The handles are standard nylon webbing. Next time I fuse bags I am gonna be more careful to make sure they are properly fused as the top layer here is separating from the other layers in some places. I think it was the type of bag I used.

what a great idea!  I can see myself melting bags and bags and hubby coming home and being like...OH MY gosh woman u trying to burn the house down..lol.  He doesn't know what to do with all these crazy crafts i do sometimes...hehe i just laugh.  I love the colors of the bags u used...all i have is icky brownish clearish grocery bags.
