YAY - more activity, I'm going to have to break out my crochet hook. Love the new cloths and really like the green apple and licorice colorways. Now I'm hungry  Grin

We're getting some wet heavy snow dumped on us right now, so I think I might pick up the hook, grab the latest pattern and pop in a movie. I think the pattern has an easy enough repeat so I can multi-task Wink

I'm not involved in this but I have been making washcloths for the holidays, and I wanted to let you guys know...I just got back from Dollar Tree in NY and they are selling Peaches and Cream cotton yarn!  Some of it is hideous, but some of it is usuable, and even the ugly skeins, you can't beat the price!

Thanks for the info, Miss Barbara! I'll have to hit the Dollar Trees around here and see if I can find any. And, since I use my cotton yarn almost exclusively for dishcloths, who cares if it's ugly!

And, I've been working on a waffle weave pattern and it was coming out gigantic. so, after about 6 rows, I looked more carefully at the pattern. I was using an I hook, when I should have been using a G. So, I'll be starting over... time for another movie!

I didn't get any done in time to use the camera this week, but I am almost done with vanilla grit now.

Does anyone know if there is going to be a granny square along for november? I am working on a few blankets and could use motivation.

I finished the Twists pattern, which is a waffle pattern, and I'll post a picture when I get back to my house and have access to my camera!

I'm home! After 5 days with no electricity... So, I can take a picture soon... Maybe tomorrow after work, because I'm hungry and have to head out to get some food...

playswithneedles, can't wait to see how the round one came out. My round ones tend to come out ripply...

Here's #37! It's from Sugar N'Cream Twists (the pattern was online, but I downloaded it from the Lily website... you need to login (free) to access it, but here is the link: http://sugarncream.com/pattern.php?PID=2205).

I downsized my hook, but it was still coming out huge, so I shortened the starting chain. It came out much smaller, but it's got a sponge-like feel to it, so I'm glad it's not too big.

I think I've done all of the patterns I had printed, so I need to peruse the collection to see what else I want to make Wink

Oh, I really like that one! Do you know what colorway that is?

Here is my vanilla grit.

Its a whole skein of sugar 'n cream in violet stripes. I will admit, I did not like this colorway until I finished the cloth.
