I picked up a bunch of yarn last week, but school has started and my crafting time has been chopped drastically. And, this week, I've been so exhausted when I get home that I can't even think about crochet!

Before things got crazy, I did have a chance to write out the pattern for my first dishcloth. I posted it here along with the pattern:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=193162.0

Here is a pic...it isn't perfect since I kept getting distracted. I think I added a couple of stitches near the end or at the very beginning...but it isn't too bad.

So now I am officially 1/50!

I think I am finally ready to take a break, at least from more involved cloths, I am going to use up the rest of my cotton on super easy crazy quick cloths, because these last few I have made have just drained me.
So here they are.

Cobble Stitch (21/50) (in SnC "Key Lime Pie")

Close up of the little bobbly stitches

Grecian Beauty cloth (it did not want to be photographed, it looks way better in person, though the pattern isn't written symmetrically which drives me crazy) (22/50) (in Lion Cotton "Poppy Red")

Circles (23/50) (in SnC "Hot Pink" & "Yellow") (this one felt like it took forever, I actually took a break from it to do the Grecian one, the bottom is a little ruffly because I added a row of SCs after the starting chain to make it easier to work into to get the pattern started, I think I may do this with the fans pineapples one if I redo it, the starting chain just gets all weird and uneven otherwise, *ramble ramble ramble*)

I have another one that's a WIP (the "another round" one I think) I started it before the cobble one, but ran out of yarn that matches it, so I have to wait until I can get some more matching yarn for it, before I can finish it off (there are 3 more rows to go I think).

Holy cow! those 3 are amazing! I don't blame you for wanting to switch to easier ones. I have three words for you:

ALMOND BACK LOOP

Tongue those 3 are great though!

After a pretty long break, I finally decided to make another cloth this afternoon. It is the Falling Leaves pattern, and this makes 11/50 for me:

Oooh! That's a lovely one pawnshoppromises! Was it quick? I might have to do that one after the almond back loop.

 Shocked
I like that one a lot!
That's another one that the picture with the pattern isn't very good and doesn't make me want to make it, but yours is beautiful, so that's definitely going on my list!

I went to Joann's this morning and bought like 12 more balls of cotton, so many colors, and I got a bunch of coordinating varigated and solids, so I'm excited.

Also, I hit the halfway point, finished 25 today (had to pick up some more yarn to finish it off, otherwise I would've been done last night), I will get pics of 24 & 25 as soon as my camera battery finishes recharging.

Thanks, guys! Smiley I started and finished it while watching an episode of "Queer as Folk", so it took a little under an hour to do..I think that's pretty quick.

Now to decide which one I want to make next...

Yay, it finally finished charging, it only took ALL day.
24 & 25 were just quick easy ones, because I was burnt out from the crazy complicated ones I have been working on.

Basic (24/50) (This is a baby almond back loop pretty much, it has a neat border though, but it's TINY, at least mine turned out tiny) (in SnC "Creamsicle"

Basic 2 (25/50) (in SnC "yellow") (This one turned out a little weird shaped and I can't figure out why, oh well)

My son "reorganizing" all my cloths, right after this he threw them all on the floor and made a nest to lay down in (he turns 2 on the 17th)

And all the cotton I picked up today, on sale (today through monday) at Joanns.

And if anyone is interested the colors are (Top to bottom, going left to right, I hope that makes sense) beachball blue, hot blue, over the rainbow, yellow, hot pink, hot green, patio pinks, cornflower, rosewood, westport, landscape, and softly taupe.  I'm excited to get going into the next 25, though they are going to have to wait while I work in a few other projects, I have been neglecting my sewing machine lately.
