I made the basket weave yesterday

And this one used to be a sunhat but I decided I didn't like it, so I unraveled it to before it started to turn up to become a hat and added the loop.  It's not from a pattern on the list, so I hope it's ok that I posted it.  There are a couple round ones on the list though, that are pretty much the same.

Well, this looks like too much fun! I think I will start on this tonight! I have a lot of cotton around and just finished a project, so I will move onto a dish cloth.

Heya Zelda... your basket weave looks wild n crazy :-p

And I like the circular one.  I was trying to do one with a continuous round the other night, but it ended up being a small basket instead Smiley

I love how the variegated turned out in the basket weave!

Ok, I have two done so far then. I used Sugar and Cream cotton. Here are:

1 of 50 (single crochet throughout):

and 2 of 50: Almond back loop stitch.

I still have about 1 1/2 balls of this variegated, so I imagine my next few will be the same color.
