*The goals: Crochet dish/wash clothes.  At least one of each.  

*Do the patterns that you like (I'm having a hard time finding ones I like for crochet).  I don't want to make it a requirement that you do each and every one, because if you don't like a pattern, you won't enjoy doing it (unless you're doing it to learn a new stitch/technique).

*Try to shoot for at least 50.  feel free to make up your own pattern or use one you've found elsewhere (share the pattern if you can!)

*Try for getting 50 before '08.  Then, when '08 hits, maybe there will be more patterns and we can add those to the list, and you can start your counter all over again :-p

Remember, these are a great way to use up bits of cotton (or acrylic if you're practicing, but acrylic will mold if used for wet stuffs and could burn\melt if used as a hot pad).  Its also a great way to learn no stitches/techniques.



If you find any repeats, let me know? I know there are a few, its just hard to maintain.

You might want to choose patterns that arent on the lionbrand website. Lionbrand forces you to sign up for their website to see their patterns, but sometimes people have a problem with lionbrand recognizing them. I know Lionbrand's website hates me and at least one other person has mentioned the same problem No matter how many times I sign up, it wont recognize me. Just a thought!

count me in!  I have 4 balls of cotton i got on sale a while back just sitting in my stash with nothing to do    Plus this is a great way to brush up on stitches i don't use very often and learn some new ones!!!!  Not to mention, I LOVE instant gratification!!!!

I finished the almond back loop stitch last night.  It came out sooo lovely.  Its ridgy looking... and for those of you who can't get te the lion brand website, its just crocheting into the back loop of the half double for every row.
