Nice washcloths beandip!! I really like the second one!

Everyone on here is so fast!  I'm only on row 10 of my first one!!  Tongue Cheesy

Oh, don't feel bad! I have a few WIPs, so mine are coming along at a snail's pace.

Beandip, you got really lucky with that cool diamond effect. The stitch looks pretty cool too! Love the feather and fan as well!

Oh, I wanted to add that I did the open star, but I didn't do very many pattern repeats.  I kept messing up my stitch counts... first I had one number, then I had more, then I had less.  I kept the peice I made, it will be good for dishes I think, but I just wanted to let everyone know that it knits up  to be a very lovely, bumply piece.

Haha nothing like a bumply cloth or scrubbing pots and pans!  Cheesy

Those ARE cool, beandip!  Not to give too much away to my swap partner, but the Crusoe socks on my blog are in that second pattern!  It really takes variegated to a whole new level!

I finished washcloth no. 3 last night and will try to post a pix after work.

A couple of rows of No. 4 is on the sticks now.

But I probably won't have time to work on it for a few days -- I've gotta strip the wallpaper off in my bathroom before the contractors come back tomorrow. *Blech!*

On the plus side, I am getting a new bathroom!  Smiley

Hurray for a new bathroom!!

Does anyone know of any patterns that have a coffee cup in them? My kitchen is cafe/bistro themed & I'm so tired of the cloths I have, so I figured I would make some with a coffee cup on them to match.  Wink
