Pretty much!
I'm sure that all the yarn(!) i'm using is acrylic - it doesn't make me itch.
Square 2 going well - its the Darrel Waltrip one, i think i've got about 12 rows to go...

Oooo!  Very nice, TFF.  I love the Waltrip pattern with variegated yarns as it helps to keep the colors from pooling as much and is just mindless enough to do without having to look at a pattern, yet still be interesting.

I have not done it with a dishcloth yet, but worked the pattern on some socks.  (see Here.)

Later!

OK. I just started lurking on this thread. Since I am so late, and I know others are too......I'm going to try this 50+washcloth along for 2008 to be completed by 2009. Should I start a new thread? can I use your links? Or should this one just continue? Is anyone else interested? I'm totally addicted!

I've made 4 dishcloths recently (one is crocheted).  I'll post pics once I get a chance.  I don't know that I'll finish 50 b-4 the end of the year, but I do need the washcloths, and this'll help me w/ my stash busting KAL too! Smiley

look! I got some washcloths done! Smiley and here are the pics.
first I made this one:

then I realized it needed a border so I made this one:

here they are together:

then I happened upon the swiffer pad thread, so I made a ballband one for my swiffer:

look it works! lol

then there's this one, I did it a while ago. it's acrylic, but I figure it'll make a nice dist cloth.

I'm interested! I'd really like to try out the different patterns and found this a bit too late.

I finished 2 more wash cloths, and finally took a pic of the crochet one I did.

here's the crochet one.  it's acrylic, and just a simple granny square really.  I think I'll just use it for dusting

this is the zig zag pattern from the OP:

and this one is one that I did to experiment with micro spun yarn, and the leaf pattern from the leaves in relief sweater pattern on knitty.com
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=210803.0

so I'm up to 6 washcloths I think. not bad for only joining a couple weeks ago Smiley
