(Sorry I think I look incredibly uncomfortable here, but it's a better picture of the dress!)

The pattern I used was Butterick 3080 (which is now out of print - yay for working in a fabric shop!) You can't see it especially well, but it's a wrap around halter-neck dress and the back is open down to the waist. I really enjoyed wearing it with the exception of it being quite windy before we got to the ball and because it's a completely wrap around dress... you kinda see the trouble I had! Tongue

Thoughts? Criticisms? All are welcome!

Its lovely and the color is beautiful, I'd love to see a picture of the back. =] good job, and that sucks about it being windy but at least you looked awesome.

Lol don't worry about it! I wasn't sure how many people would understand anyway! A leaver's ball is basically prom for all the students who are leaving the school that year. Though technically ours is a summer ball because anyone can go, whether they're leaving or not.
