Made this for a friend...this is the front:

All bead embroidery.  Some nut and bolt stitch...I made the face out of polymer clay.

That is the most gorgeous thing I have seen in a long time! Wow! Talent.  The colors blend well, the face is so cute (I could never get faces right....) I so wish i had enough time/patients/talent to do that. It's beautiful!

Thanks Miss!  It isn't hard but it IS time consuming...definately a project to do while watching TV or something!  The faces arn't bad...I make my own molds then I mold the faces then alter them slightly so they are all a little bit different.  That one was molded in black polymer clay with blue Pearl Ex over it.  The black clay holds pigments better than the white clay!

Thanks y'all!

I keep meaning to post more...I'm getting to it I swear!

I'm the editor at BellaOnline's Jewelry Making section, so I have an article up there every week and it is usually a project how-to.  I also have a how-to article on beaded art doll purses out in the current issue of Mysterium and a piece on picture frame pins the the current (Fall) issue of Polymer Cafe.  So if you read any of those you may see some of my "stuff".

Of the beaded dolls, this one is my favorite so far...I finished her recently, I need to do new pictures!

Congratulations for your BellaOnline's work, that page is a great sours of information, I love tutorials and links you have their, and it is so much better then about.com because lack of all ads. It is great you heave not only beading information there but also basic knowledge of colors and beading history. Weary inspiring. English is not my first language so I cent write to you more but keep on a good work

Thanks Olenka!  The BellaOnline owner, Lisa Shea, feels really strongly about not having popup ads, popunder ads, flashing blinky ads, and all those annoyances that other sites have...even though it means that she makes less money.  It is really a nice place to write for!
