I had a dumplings party!  I made pork and veggie dumplings and spinach and mushroom ones.  They were both delicious.

Live a little closer, MareMare?  I invited a bunch of people, but sadly, only a few came.  More dumplings for me though that way.

Tonight I'm having fried rice, I think.  Garlicky bok choy and a bunch of other veggies will be with it.

I'm pretty new to cooking, but after a few disastrous attempts with chicken alfredo, I gave up for a while, and when I moved to my aunt's I think I actually cooked maybe three times. I made edible chicken alfredo, probably cuz the sauce originated from a packet LOL. And one night I got bored and made biscuits and sausage gravy completely from scratch. No real reason, just had a craving. Surprisingly it turned out really good, so the next day I made Brunswick stew. My aunt and her boyfriend were SOOOOO shocked that it actually tasted good (Everyone knows I'm terrible in the kitchen) and then I don't think I ever cooked again until I moved again. >_>;;; I've been living here with my grandma for a few weeks now, and with constant times of my money running out for the week or my mom refusing to toss me some extra, I had to start getting creative if I wanted something other than canned soups or boxed meals or frozen thingies.. (The "healthy" ones, like Eating Right and Smart Ones don't fill me up at all... Which is kinda sad, I'm pretty small :s ) Plus eating out like mad does not work on my budget. Even now with my budget increased, it still doesn't work well. @_@;;;

Last week and this week I made a few meat and potato dishes, and a few nights ago I made BBQ'd pulled pork in the crock pot. I'd never used a crock pot before, so I was a little nervous. Recently I also made pizza and also potatoes'n'eggs. Yum. We've been eating a lot of pulled pork but there's still sooooo much. Tonight grandma and I had chicken alfredo with olives, but we used left over chicken from a roasted chicken, and also a box of PastaRoni and added the olives xP Tomorrow (Well I guess today technically) my mom and aunt are coming over and we're all going out for lunch, so dinner will probably be left overs. Sunday, we're making a Mexican soup from the broth from when I made pulled pork, and we're adding pork, beans, rice, maybe potatoes, and some other stuff.
