So I've been wanting to make a necklace using these chains I bought for the longest time!  I made black bats for my stepdaughter and now here are the colored ones!
Made from shrinky dinks.

In 4 colors

I tried applying mica powders onthem to give it some sheen but that didn't work out.  So I just left them as is after baking..

Thanks for looking!

Those are so cute! How'd you get the color and where'd you get the chains?

I wasted ink for the color - LOL - I selected the color I like using macromedia fireworks, filled in a rectangular shape big enough for me to cut the shape of a bat.  Printed it on the inkjet shrinky dink then traced out bat shape (as you can see some of them are uneven LOL) then cut it with small scissors.

The chains I bought from a supplier I buy my jewelry stuff from.
