This is a project I've been mulling over for a while:

The "tank" is a bug keeper I picked up from the dollar store, the fishies and plants are all polymer clay.  I embedded paperclips in the fish and hung then from fishing line.  I used seed beads and hole-less beads for the "gravel," and glued flat marbles on the top to cover the knots where I had strung the fishing line.  This project was an absolute blast!

Thanks!  Yup, I used two overlapping hearts - I didn't have enough variety in my fish cookie cutters! Tongue

That looks like fun!!
I love that no water is involved.
I have had a 10 and 22 gallon fish tanks bust on me, and vowed to never have another.
This would make a wonderful summer project with my DD.  If you do not mind us borrowing your idea??  Wink

I am not obsessed with Perty Thangs, I am disciplined...

I have alot to share, all you gotta do is ask.

Crochet, x-stitch, Ribbon embroidery, plastic canvas, beadwork, polymer clay, wire work, and now TATTING!!  Please help me learn to knit, then I might be complete.

Great project!  Sorry you had such a hard time gluing down the "plants" but really love them so glad you stuck with it  Smiley

Thanks everyone!

Beadizzy - borrow away!  (But be sure to post pics when you're done!)  I love the idea of doing this on a larger scale.

I was expecting this to be a tank filled with the translucent liquid clay, but this is way better! And way less expensive!
