I received from ScotSkipper today.

a shirt

apron for my crafting supplies, with lots of pockets

a knitted scarf

a vintage scarf and twisty bracelet

and modeling the bracelet

I finally picked up my package from the post office today!  (they tried to deliver it on thursday, but missed me)

Megami has received! I only took pictures of the messenger bag I made her because I'm so in love with it...hopefully she'll be able to post pictures of the shirt and bracelet.


Here is the bag. I used the 'Messenger Bag with Gusset' tutorial on the purse/handbag board. I added a button to the flap (My first buttonhole! It wasn't perfect, but at least I get the gist of it now), zig-zag stitched around the flap with some cool variegated green thread and painted a Craftster skull with crossed knitting needles on the front.


The material I used for the lining....it is green flowers on off-white, but I think it looks a bit like camo. The whole bag is lined, even the strap.



Here is a better picture of the painted skull.

It was so funny, because we both made each other brown messenger bags and t-shirts...the small item was the only thing that was different!

I'm so glad you posted a picture of the bag! i dont know what in the blue blazes happened to my camera, but i can't find it anywhere Sad i'm going to try to steal my mom's though, so i can take pics of the awesome shirt and bracelet that i got Cheesy
