I wanted to make my (tiny) three year old daughter a dress for July 4.  She spills everything, so I wanted it reversible.

I measured her really well, and even set the straps in more than a regular dress because she has problems with straps falling down.  After I got it all put together, it wouldn't go down over her head!  That's why the hem isn't finished.  I got frustrated.  The matching head-kerchief fits her really well, though.  It's a good thing I have friends with smaller girls than her!

Shoot!  It looks really cute. I wonder if a zipper would help.  I don't know how that would work though...

Yeah, and zippers and I have a mutual hatred.  I'll just give it to someone with a smaller head!

I have zipper-phobia as well!

but it is very cute just the same.

my dd won't let me measure her, not sure why, perhaps she will be come more cooperative!

I snuck up on mine while she was eating lunch.  Could be why the measurements were off!
