I'm wondering if any of you guys know where I can find a pattern for a scoop neck vest.  People on TV have been wearing them recently with button-up shirts, the neckline comes like halfway down the boob.  Mariska Hargitay wore one on SVU in the Philadelphia ep while she was on the couch with her brother, but I can't find a pic.  And I haven't found one in the stores yet that isn't permanently attached to some pretend shirt (though I have to say I've only looked at 2 stores).

I can modify patterns, so even if it's cabled or intarsia or whatever, I've just never done a vest or a scoop neck anything and I need the basic shape.  I'm having a hard time looking myself due to dial up hell.

Thanks for any help Smiley

Magknits has a pattern called Devon on their website right now.  It sounds like what you are looking for.  Also, a few vests have been posted recently on the Completed Projects board.  Good luck!
