I'm also waiting.  It sounds like it will be worth the wait though.

I'm waiting too but it shouldn't be too long now, as I have just 990 people in front of me.

I think that it's great that it covers crochet and knitting, as I really like both.

oh dear, I got my invite the other day, but now that I'm signed in, I don't know where to start! It would probably be less overwhelming if I wasnt feeling ill and trying to pack for a 2 week vacation--stress overload!

ETA: Ok, I went in and started simple~added my hooks, a profile, added myself to the craftster ravelry group, added in some books (most of the books I have appear not to be in the ravelry library yet) and added a couple projects. I think I am going to be a big fan! I'm still figuring out how to maneuver the site. Oh, and I have the same username there as here!

One thing you will definitely want to do is add your stash. It will open your eyes to what kinds of yarn you have the most of.
Despite loving plan old worsted acrylic, most of my stash seems to be fun novelty yarns. Boucles, fluffy, eyelash, etc. I don't have hardly any plain acrylic! At least now I know what to buy!
The other advantage is that you can look up other people's projects with the same yarn. Smiley Handy for that skien you just can't figure out what to do with. Smiley

Ooh, thanks for the tips Eliea! I have a ton of eyelash and boa yarn from when a couple JoAnn's closed and were clearancing it out...and I don't even like it that much! But, yeah, it would be great to have it all listed! I'm constantly buying something just to later realize that I already had it.

Someone on the knitting board did. See if you cane-mail the two admins and let them know. I believe that's what the person on the knitting board did. I'd give it 24 hours though. Sometimes e-mail can be almost as slow as snail mail.
