I probably should have recognized you! My brain is really compartmentalized sometimes. I do it all the time with people. I work two jobs and people from job 2 have walked into job 1 and I don't recognize them and these are people I talk to on a regular basis! Carry over from one place to another just doesn't happen easily in my brain for some reason.

It's all good - I was quiet and sneaky about it I know!

Have you noticed that Ravelry isn't as *friendly* as it is here - or is that my outlook on things - people just don't keep up with a group or conversation and it just is kind of slow for lack of better words...
I don't think I can ever replace my Craftster - or crochetville for that matter - or sewforum.  Love sewforum.

As far as the forums go, yeah they are slow, but I don't use Ravelry for thier forums, just thier library and organization tools.  Once in awhile I look to see what people have posted about certain patterns, if there is a post but that's about it.

I couldn't give up Craftster, I would be lost in a sea of crafting insanity, if I did that.

I seem to go to Ravelry in waves.  I mostly use it to sift through the patterns and look for inspiration.  I also like being able to post a project part-way through and the easy updating... but it can get old, so I forget about it for a bit, then I remember that I have an account and check it out, and spend hours at a time!  It's a disease, I tell you!

I'm mio there. ^_^

Hi! I'm on ravelry too.. I joined only a few months ago. I have the same username (Mooncat71) and i've posted wuite a few projects on there (which I hope to add here too eventually).

I like it... i guess maybe because i joined it first. I like the idea of having a page where you can log all the details of a certain project you did e.g. what yarn you used, what size hook etc, so that you can go back to it and recreate it later on if you want. I never remember what hook size i used!  Grin Grin

I joined a while ago.  I like how people post pictures of a project made in several different yarns.

hey... I think my username there is Summ3r... I usually like to see how other people interpret patterns and yarn colors... Its fun to see how other people take the same pattern and put their own touch on it...
