So, I saw madpimp's kimono hoodie and loved it, and then saw that she had a made a tutorial and loooooved her, so I went out, bought some fabric ($2/m, shweet!)  And made this:

(pardon the annoyed looks, my mother and I were mouthing off at each other at the time.  Also, ignore the fading hair/roots...)

hood down

...and Harley wanted to be seen, but apparently not picked up.  Typical boys  Roll Eyes

And comment appreciated, and criticism would be absolutely wonderful!

PS Thanks again for the wonderful tutorial!  Here's the original post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177160.0

Not at all!  The only trouble I had was fabric related; I used a silk stuff instead of fleece like she did, cause I liked the print.  It frayed a bit, so I broke down and hauled my serger down stairs.  It's really easy though!

I'm fifteen aswell  Smiley

It was really easy.  I used a shirt that fit okay (not fitted, it was my art camp shirt, I'm just that cool) to make the patten.  For the sleeves, I just extended the sleeves on the original shirt.  I used maybe...1.5-2 metres, but I made a few mistakes on the way, and the hood was quite large, cause I extended it along the collar.  As for the black, I used about a metre because I doubled a lot of things, layer-wise.  But I finished it in one night, with a five year old bothering me, and I'm not experienced of a sewingpersonmabobber, so I'm sure you could do it!

It is as great as the original.  Someday I will need to learn to sew, though I am not sure it would look good on me at my weight (but then regular hoodies don't look good on me, maybe this one could work).
