Twisty Tie Art

I had no clue where to put this so i decided to put it here.

Lately i have been getting into making things from twist ties and only twist ties and my fingers are used to make them. so no glue or anything to hold it together.

I started off by doing hula people, which actually have been a hit at the gift shop i work at and was able to sell some.

Today i decided to go a bit more 3d and created this giraffe. I already have someone waiting to purchase it. Who would of thought that you could sell twisty ties?

anyways, i don;t think that the picture do it much justice and it's very sturdy. Don't mind the base, i need something to transport the giraffe home with out it getting squashed and thought i would get creative and tape down some grass and ran out half way through.

oh and i also made the Queen Twisty Mermaid that is currently in the challenge

This is so awesome. Where do you buy shiny colored twisty ties? I saw the mermaid tiara and I love it also. I never knew twisty ties came in so many colors.

Wow, that is really neat! I am impressed with what you can do with some shiny covered wires - so clever!  I really want to see the hula people you are making too, independent of the crown!

that is seriously too cool! i think i almost peed mysself because it was really THAT AWESOME!!!! the mermaid tiara is pretty spankin' also. really awesome job! i never knew those things could look sooooo good.
