Oh my thank you! You made me blush... AND you totally made my day.

Thanks!  Grin

I'm happy for this excuse to spin more since I was in a big slump the last few months. Barely spinning a skein a week. Now I'm doing one a day and feel much better about everything.

Here's my balanced yarn, pre washing and blocking

I spun an art yarn last night with feathers, beads and felted clumps. I'll post as soon as I get good pics.

Unable to leave good enough alone!

Here's a pic of the Monster Mash yarn that my kids helped me spin

Here's a pic of two of the kids with the wheel (the third one wanted nothing to do with the camera today, go figure Smiley )

and here's a close up of the hat that I knit for the monsters, I mean kids Smiley

The yarn stats are 4oz of hand painted falkland, Spunky FOTM Club, October 06, called Monster Mash.  I have no idea what kind of yardage we got out of it (darn that missing niddy noddy)

Now we're off to spin some for another hat Smiley

I've just been spinning. I see all these finished skeins and I have to remind myself it's been a busy week for us. But I've still been spinning. My soy silk on a spindle goes with me almost everywhere (it was at church on Sunday and at the drive in movie last night) and I've been plodding along with an alpaca/ silk blend on my wheel.
As of yesterday, day 5, I had finished one 2 oz chunk and am starting the next two oz chunk...

Here is MY tiny helper. She's 18 months old, and is only alowed to touch the drum carder when it's empty.

And likes to be in the pictures.....

tee hee. there's some cute for your day.  Grin
