This is the place to show off what you are spinning during the Tour de Fleece.

I'll get the ball rolling with some fiber I picked up recently at the Black Sheep Gathering. I'll be spinning some of this haul for sure. (Ignore the yarn for now) You're looking at a big white ball of merino-targhee-rambouillet blend, a braid of hand-dyed yarn from a nine year old boy, fluffy wine-colored wool, soysilk and a latte colored blend of merino and tencel. And I have more. But this is the picture for today!

I can't wait to see what everyone will share!  Smiley

Yum yum yum!  I am working with my own handdyed stuff, but I really want to find a good price on some corn silk to try.

I just received a bump of 30lbs of Merino 64!  I'm so excited and pumped.  I'll be carding this morning so that I can spin tonight.

Hi @ all,

since I'm a few timezones east, it looks like I'm the first to post a result. Today we had a meeting at our local spinning guild, so I had a really nice prolog-day. Here is a pic of the first skein:

2.6 oz superwash wool, about 146 yards, navajo-plyed.

I'm so looking forward to all of the different results.

Cu all tomorrow....
