ok, i know i'm probably the last one to start this, and I started right before clue 5 came out, so I'm playing catch up.

I just finished clue 2 - YAY!!

Better late than never. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. In the begining I found it hard but noe it's great.

question for the people who started this on week one, and are much further along than I am (i'm only on clue 3 at the moment)

how does one go about blocking something that's going to be as long as this? (this is the first, but not the last, shawl I've knitted)  everything that I've knitted and blocked are smaller items, or at least shorter ones...

any ideas?

YAY!!  clue 3 bites the dust..... on to clue 4!

Blocking wires are your friends. You can get a set from knitpicks for about $30. They're an especially good investment if you intend to keep knitting lace, but they're also nice for blocking out sweater peices.

thanks - i was more concerned with what space is large enough to pin it down, actually

guess i'll use T-pins and pin it into my bed, that should be big enough

The bed works, or a carpeted floor that you can keep pet and/or kid-free. Vacuuming first helps (learned that one the hard way....)

I am finished up to clue three. I will be starting clue four today. Smiley You can see some pictures on my blog of the progress so far. Very happy with how its turned out
As for blocking, I am thinking my back rooms floor is going to be big enough to block it for me, if not, well my bf will have to deal with it being laid across the front room floor! hehe..
