I did a little personal swap with frix220, and got a skein of Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, Camo-coloured. I knit a gauge swatch to see if my gauge matched the gauge in the skein. I decided I didnt use the swatch anymore, and frogged it.

With the yarn I crocheted the flower of the Spring in Winter-hat from the Happy Hooker book. I made myself a pretty brooch:



with the little bit I had left over, then split the yarn in half and made a little fridge magnet:


I used the same pattern, but only half way.

today I made more brooches.. yup.. got addicted:

the white flower is for my mom, the other ones I'm going to give to friends

awesome flowers.... a few months back I was on a roll and cranked out a flower from every random skein of yarn in my stash...
