My Signature Recycled Bag

« on: March 29, 2007 07:03:26 PM »

Here is my recon of plastic grocery bags into a shoulder bag purse. This is one of the first items I ever made from recycled plastic bags. I finally got around to testing and writing out the pattern. If you are interested here is the link to the free pattern. http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2007/03/29/crochet-a-recycled-plastic-shoulder-bag/

I am working on one right now, any tips.

Check out Lindsay-goes-to-eleven for very inspiring pictures. She made one for me in a personal swap that looks like a million bucks. And she put plastic needlepoint canvas on the bottom to keep it square.

"For what do we exist, but to laugh at our neighbors and be laughed at in our turn?"

My stash of supplies is now Beyond Life Expectancy. I love personal swaps! http://www.wists.com/redmennis
