love the tiara and if you get hungry, just break off a piece and let it melt in your mouth

Is that gold glitter on there?!
Nope. No gold glitter. The chocolate was sweating a bit as it was warming up (I had put it in the refrigerator to set). It had a nice effect though!

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.  Smiley

I saw the thumbnail of this and had to click on it because I thought it looked like it was made of chocolate.  I am ecstatic to know that it was.  Is it just straight chocolate that you piped into the design?  How did you get the lovely curved tiara shape?  (I don't have a lot of experience with chocolate other than eating it  Wink )

It is just melted chocolate chips piped into the design. After I piped the milk chocolate onto the dark chocolate, I stuck the whole thing in a warm oven so that the milk chocolate design would sort of sink into the dark chocolate. To get the curved shape, I just wrapped the silpat (the silicone and fiberglass nonstick baking mat I was piping the chocolate onto) around a 2 liter soda bottle. After breaking 3 tiaras before this one, I finally got the hang of it.  Chocolate is fun (though frustrating) to work with. Eating it afterwards was great though. Smiley
