Update 5/23/08
I'm obviously having trouble with this site because I just realized that several people responded to my inquiry, two last year!  Perhaps I'm a technophobe but I just don't get how people are supposed to communicate thought these blog thingies!

To anyone in the East Bay, preferably the Martinez/Concord/Walnut Creek area who is interested in a crafty group, please email me directly to slickmom2000@yahoo.com.  I do mostly cross stitch and embroidery but love most crafts!

Kendall

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for an East Bay crafting group, preferably in the Martinez, Pleasant Hill, or Walnut Creek area.

Drop me a line!

Hi,

I'm an East Bay crafter too and would also like to find a group.

I talked briefly with an Oakland girl on ETSy about a group that met once.

Perhaps we can form our own group? I know theres gotta be more crafters in the East bay then just us 2!

I'm not a hardcore crafter but I'd love to meet up with some lovely crafters once in a while.  I'm also in the Walnut Creek area.

I just (and I mean just) moved to Berkeley, and am looking for a craft group to join... I enjoy, but am not great at, sewing, knitting, and whatever else may come along. I don't really know my way around yet but am willing to try to navigate East Bay to meet some people and share ideas and projects... Feel free to get in touch with me at nlindenfelser at gmail.com... Thanks!

I have just moved to across the bridge from Martinezs (Benicia) and wouldn't mind crossing the bridge (not all of the time but maybe once or twice a month) for an embroidery/cross stitch group. I seem to only know quilters and crocheters/knitters so my embroidery and cross stitch projects are going unfinished. Let me know if you are all still meeting. I will try to remember to email you next time I log in.
