It may just be that my brain is being stubborn, but I can't figure out how I'm supposed to do the straps on this darned bag!!  Can anyone find an easy way to explain it to me?  I've only made bags following Craftsters tutorials and this is my first effort at a commercial pattern.  It's bag A.

It looks like the straps are part of the bag, as opposed to being added after the fact. (The picture is very small on my computer -- you can see the pattern here: http://simplicity.com/index.cfm?page=search.cfm&numMatch=2&design_id=12317&design=4625&thumbnail_image=4625t.jpg&ldesc=Bags%20In%20Two%20Styles&size_range=One%20Size).

Can you be more specific about what you can't figure out? Perhaps the amazing craftsters on this forum could offer more information if you gave us some details about what is troubling you with this bag!

The directions were a bit confusing as to how to connect all 8 pieces for the straps together.  I took it to work and a coworker figured it out for me and I think I got it now.  I'm just being bull-headed, I think. Wink
