well i'm glad i'm not the only one!  Wink

to make them you need:

1 1/2 cups bicarbonate of soda (baking soda or powder)
1/2 cup citric acid powder
Sieve
Sweet almond oil
An essential oil
Food colouring
Rubber gloves
Moulds
*optional* Herbal teabags or dry ingredients (i used caramel flavoured lipton for teddies, and 100's and 1000's for the strawberry one)

To make the base mix, sieve together the bicarbonate of soda and the citric acid powder in a large dry mixing bowl.

Transfer 1/2 cup portions (unless you just want one colour/flavour) into seperate smaller bowls, then add different dry ingredients (i think i'll try cocount next time too!).

In a small bow/tub, combine 6 drops of your chosen essential oil with 1/2 teaspoon of sweet almond oil and 8 to 12 drops of food colouring. Pour this mixture into the 1/2 cup of base mix and stir quickly with a teaspoon so things don't start fizzing!

Wearing rubber gloves, continue to combine the ingredients with your fingertips until they start to stay together when compressed in your hand.

Wipe a little sweet almond oil (or you can chear and use canola spray) inside the mould (or cup..whatever). Fill the mould with the mixture, packing it in firmly.

Make your other bath bombs with the remaining mixture, working with 1/2 cup at a time. Leave the bath bombs to set for at least 24 hours (36 hours is even better). Turn each mould over and bang it firmly once on a flat surface, then gently ease out the bath bombs.

And...voila! yummy bath stuf!

oh..by the way - what's a teddy graham? (i'm from Australia.... lol)  Smiley

ummm.... i think the other words for it are collander, or strainer, or sifter thing...
anyway..it's like a net kinda thing, but you put flour etc in it to get rid of lumps and stuff... (like with fly-screen - kinda)

ha ha ha.. sorry! if that doesn't help i can take a pic of mine and send it.. lol!  Grin

Those are great!  What about taking the strawberry one and putting it in cupcake wrappers with a candle on top.  What a great gift for a girlfriend's birthday!  Get a plate from the thrift store and wrap it with plastic wrap & a pretty bow.  I'll have to send pics when I do this project.

More questions.  What are 100's and 1000's?  It looks like cake decorations.  Also where might your buy citric acid?

i scooped ice cream in london when i was 17 and there and then i learned that they don't say sprinkles but "100s and 1000s".  Huh?  weird, huh?  i don't know if the 100s and 1000s in this recipe are the edible type.  tomatoe tomahtoe... Smiley
