So I have to leave in about five or six hours for a bridal shower that I forgot was happening today.  I have no cash and no car.  But I do have plain cotton fabric in colors that the bride likes, and my sewing machine.  Does anyone have any ideas?

I've known the bride since we were kids, and her family is sort of like my other family.  She and I aren't close, but it's sort of like the sisters that aren't close.  You may not be close, but you're still family.

Unfortunately, I haven't been close with her enough in the last couple of years to tell you much about  her current hobbies and interests.

- She's in her very early twenties.

- I'm not sure where they're going on honeymoon, if they're going at all right away.

- They just bought an enormous house.

- They're not big drinkers

- She seems to have picked up her Mom's talent for homemaking, but neither of them do it in Suzy Homemaker fashion.  They just do it.

- She's probably likely to like more classic or modern styles than funky/punky stuff.

- She does  have a sharp sense of humor, but I'm never entirely sure of it, mine seems to not match up to hers exactly so it's a little hit or miss.

If there's any thing else I can supply, let me know.  I'll be online until I get an idea, so please fling fast and furious.  Smiley

AGH!  I really wish I'd remembered this a little sooner!

Edit:
I settled on making her an apron in some colors she likes.  Smiley  I'll post a link when I get a picture.

Edited again:
Pictures!  Yay!
