I had an ancient hoodie that had some psudo-military screan print on it. My husband is in the Army and people would give me weird looks for it. Plus, the arms wear too short and it was hard to pull over my head.

I cut up the center and used my serger to finish the edges. Then I randomly added length in stripes to the arms and the chevron to add length in the body. Then a couple of patches to hide the old pattern and a new draw string.

I forgot to line the red fabric on the arms and the stabilizer I used is a little itchy.

Now I get good attention for my one of a kind hoodie.
