i used to wear mens ties in high school, then the whole avril levigne thing came and i got made fun of.
so now im making womens ties!
like necklaces, ....but not.
i got the girlyest fabric i could find, and added lace and bows, sequins, jewels, and charms to it.
i just ripped apart and old tie, used the white stiff fabric from the inside, traced the tie, and sewed it together to make this new girl tie.
here's my boy wearing it:

Seventh grade I rocked ties and by eigth they were very punk, and a lot of people that I really didn't want to be a part of started wearing them. Guess we called that trend early, I think it runs in my family (or at least, yknow, my brother and I). We (and mostly he) called the velvent blazers/all blazers thing, skinny jeans, rattails, converse's rebirth (i missed that one entirely, actually, until I was behind and had to pass it up or be a trend follower and not a trend setter, NO!, and rattails still gross me out)

Dang, we crafters are cutting edge. I've since stopped wearing ties though, oh well.

Breathless, we flung us on the windy hill, laughed in the sun, and kissed the lovely grass.
