Haha I've been on craftster for a while, 3 months maybe?  Huh ahh well, so I've finally decided to make something worthy of putting up! This was the first thing I've ever sewn. BOY did it take a while! You don't want to know how many times I've had to use the seam ripper...not to mention, my mother said the pace I was sewing was the slowest she's ever seen. XD well, at least she said it jokingly! I used the pattern from Burda Style (gosh I love that site! I practically downloaded everything!) Free patterns, YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY GO WRONG WITH THAT! But here's the link to the pattern if you guys want to make it. I found it fairly easy to make...after countless times looking over it of course ^_^'''

I made an extra belt to go with it, just to add a more personal touch Tongue This is closest to the actual colour

a closeup of the pleats...it's kinda hard to tell actually....oops >_<''' but at least you can see the belt I made here! (was great practice *cough* for sewing straight lines ^_-)

and a closeup of the gathering...that's what it's called right?   Grin

I used this fabric called sport cotton poplin. It was really cheap too! $1.77/yrd Cheesy
Thank you for looking! Feedback is more than appreciated ^_^

Cheesy Aww thanks you guys! You're so encouraging ^_^ It took me a REALLY long time though. I had to practice sewing on scrap fabric before I did the real thing. I was wayyy to chicken to mess up anything XD

You may have taken a while to make them, but at least they look professionally done. Good job!
