OK, so i'm making this dog sweater, and the underside of the sweater required me to knit a long skinny strip in gerter stitch like, 3'' by 13''. Everyting was just fine but so far it's about 9 or 10'' but the whole strip is for some reason going in this crazy spiral twirl!!! I've knit lots of things in garter before, but never have they spun!!! Is this happening because it's just so skinny, or am i doing something wrong??? HELP!!!! Shocked

Don't suppose you could post a pic. I can't quite picture it.
Is it something that wouldn't be fixed by blocking?

When my stitches swirled as I was knitting in the round, it was because I was knitting and purling wrong. I twisted my knit stitch and then untwisted with the purl - but because I was knitting in the round, I ended up straight knitting and ended up with it going off in a swirl. Not sure if that was any help, but it might be something to review.
