This doesn't really help, but I wish they would open a Papersource around here!!! There is one in Boston and it ROCKS.  I know there is a scrapbook store in Danbury, but I couldn't find a listing. Sometimes they can have good stuff. I did find these scrapbook stores while I was looking:

Phone: (860) 693-9197

SCRAPBOOK COTTAGE LLC

Phone: (860) 738-3772

SCRAPBOOK SHOPPE
22 WOODSTOCK AVE, PUTNAM, CT 06260
Phone: (860) 963-7314

THE SCRAPBOOK PALACE
3563 MAIN ST, STRATFORD, CT 06614
Phone: (203) 375-4266

Look up Charette Paper, they used to be on Hamilton Ave in New Haven but they have moved.

Beadworks is in Soth Norwalk. It's a small chain bead store, but they have REALLY nice stuff. They can be a little expensive bu their selection is great. They have a webiste where I'm sure you can get directions.

My favorite paper store is a little hole in the wall place in Stratford called Hudson Paper Co. I get all of my craft packaging from there, like chinese food containers for about a quarter each, and bows for a dime.

The scrapbook store in Danbury has been closed for about a year.  Sigh.  And the Craft Basket is closed now too.  Getting nice papers around here is getting difficult!
