I love the color and I'm actually going to modify the pattern and make one for myself. Cheesy

OH COOL...I've been wanting to do the same but have NO idea how to reconfigure a pattern that way. What size are you, if you don't mind me asking?

I think this halter top is amazing! Your color choices have inspired me!

I haven't crocheted in ages and just happened to wander into this forum last night. Now I'm going to pick up my hook again.  Thank you so much for posting this.  My 6 year old daughter is going to love it.

I just gave all of my yarn away and now I get to go to Walmart and pick out some new colors to try this halter. I've never made any clothing and I'm not even that great at crocheting but I'm going to give this a try.  I'm so excited.   Cheesy

Thanks,
Bethany

Hi Bethany...I hadn't crocheted in forever either, so you can totally do this...it's really basically ALL double crochet stitches!  Post pics when you finish, we wanna see! :-)

I thought my dad was the only one who called his kids 'stinker'. That made me smile, just FYI.

Well, I finished my little girls halter top and I think it turned out beautifully!  It was super easy for me even though I consider myself a newbie to crochet.  I know how to do a lot of different crafts but never stick with anything long enough to become a pro at it.   Undecided

My daughter, Diamond,  wears a size 6 and so I used a size G hook.  I also added four more rows to the length.  I crochet kindof loose so this worked for me.    The halter fits her perfectly...not too tight....not too loose.  She's already recieved lots of compliments on it.  Smiley  I can't wait to do one in black.

  Sorry...I can't post pictures here yet...just links.

I used the Sugar and Cream yarn and it took about 7 oz. to complete.  I'll definately be making lots more of these!

Thanks so much for the inspiration!
